"I've learned that God's faithfulness is often most seen in the seasons we would have never chosen."
Wife and mother of three boys, sharing her life that's full of God's faithfulness — with plenty of humor along the way.
Growing up while raising a family, and finding grace in every season.
The daughter of a young mother who chose life and a father who chose to make her his own, Erica learned early that love is more than a feeling — it's a choice, a sacrifice, and one of the clearest reflections of God's grace.
Years later, an unexpected pregnancy of her own became the beginning of a deeper understanding of redemption. For more than twenty years, she and her husband Joshua — a Purple Heart combat veteran — have navigated military life, combat injuries, recovery, parenting, and the everyday challenges of marriage and family, learning to cling to their faith and laugh often.
What felt like the end of her plans became the beginning of a deeper understanding of God's grace, redemption, and faithfulness.
Today, Erica and Joshua are raising three boys — young men they're teaching to be strong and compassionate, confident yet humble, and grounded in faith.
Together they have learned to cling to their faith, laugh often, and trust God's plan — even when the road ahead seemed uncertain.
A proud Virginian and passionate American, Erica also serves her community as an elected school board member and believes there are many different paths to a meaningful life.
Whether speaking about faith, motherhood, marriage, or overcoming adversity, Erica's message stays the same: God is faithful, even in the chapters we never would have chosen.
A mother who chose life.
A father who chose a daughter.
A God who remained faithful through it all.
My story didn't begin the way anyone would have planned — and neither did the next chapter. But looking back, I can see God's fingerprints on every page. He has a way of writing stories far better than the ones we would have written for ourselves.
"My desire is simple: to remind you that God is still writing your story — and that His grace and faithfulness can be trusted on every page. Life may not always go according to plan, but there's always something to be thankful for, something to laugh about, and evidence of His goodness along the way."
